SOS Emergency Alerts
Press and hold to send an SOS alert to selected trusted contacts, with your location when you choose to share it. HerSafe shows the alert’s delivery status when available and directs you to call 911 when immediate emergency assistance is needed.
Trusted Contacts
Build your personal safety network with trusted people who are alerted during emergencies and check-ins.
Safety Check-Ins
Set a check-in and let selected trusted contacts know when you arrive safely or when you may need support.

A moderated, anonymous community for women to share support, education, and personal experiences. No DMs or public profiles.

We collect and store only the information needed to provide the features you choose to use. Depending on those choices, this may include your first name, email address, phone number, trusted contacts, safety events, trip details, safety plans, journal entries, community activity, and temporary location or audio data. Sensitive information is protected according to our Privacy Policy, and we do not sell personal data to advertisers.
No DMs, No Public Profiles
Our community is anonymous by design. No private messages, no public user directories, no way to be targeted or doxxed.
No "Rate the Men" Features
HerSafe does not allow users to identify, photograph, rank, or review private individuals. Our community focuses on support, education, and personal experiences—not public accusations or ratings.

HerSafe was founded by Barbara Parra after recognizing the need for a platform that combines personal safety, emotional support, trusted resources, and community support in one place.
The mission of HerSafe is to help women feel safer, more confident, and more connected through education, technology, and support. No woman should have to navigate her safety alone. With HerSafe, she won't have to.
In 2025, a women-focused dating-safety app reported unauthorized access involving approximately 72,000 images, including selfies and photo-identification images. The incident demonstrated how collecting highly sensitive identity materials can create additional risk when systems are compromised. HerSafe was designed to avoid collecting IDs, selfies, or profile photographs.
